Are You Connected to Other Believers?

Connected to Believers bannerAt First Baptist Church, we believe one of the best ways to enrich your Christian life is to connect with other believers. That’s why we offer a variety of opportunities for you to meet and grow with other Christians.

Bible Study

One of the primary ways people connect to other believers at First Baptist is through small-group interaction and fellowship. Sunday School and adult Bible studies allow you to study the Bible with others in your age or peer group. By gathering on a regular basis to share, study, and fellowship, you can develop friendships, accountability, and a support network of people for you and your family. Single Adults

If you are a single adult, First Baptist offers numerous opportunities to connect with other single men and women. Activities include regularly scheduled Bible studies on Sunday mornings and Saturday nights, retreats, mission trips, hayrides, an annual divorce recovery seminar, and an ongoing divorce recovery support group. Mature Adults (60+)(aka: Ventures Ministry)

First Baptist Church offers several opportunities for fellowship and ministry to all mature adult men and women. Great activities and wonderful Sunday School classes keep mature adults growing in their faith, building solid relationships, and serving their community in love. The Mature Adult Advisory Council coordinates and plans regular outings, such as mission trips, retreats, and the Ventures Friday night fellowships. This ministry also cares for our church’s homebound population, as well as those in hospitals and convalescent homes. For more information on the Mature Adults Ministry, click here.

The Men’s Network

The Men’s Network provides an opportunity for men to connect with other guys on a regular basis. With programs such as Wednesday night praise and worship, Bible studies, the Wild Game Dinner, Men’s Fraternity, camping trips, and men’s retreats, the Men’s Network seeks to build a community of men committed to God’s agenda for their lives. In the same way, women are encouraged to be part of the First Baptist Women’s Ministry. Featuring quarterly refresher events, weekly Bible studies, fellowships, and conferences, the Women’s Ministry Team desires to enrich women's souls and enable them to build lasting relationships with one another.
