Will my counseling session be confidential?
Yes, all sessions are private and confidential by law and ethical standards. Information is only released by your permission or where indicated by law.
Do you take insurance?
While we do not accept insurance for payment, we will assist you by providing a receipt for services rendered which may be used to request reimbursement.
Do you take credit or debit cards?
We do not accept credit or debit cards for payment.
Are your therapists Christians?
Yes, all of our therapists are Christians.
Do you prescribe medicine?
Yes, our psychiatrist is licensed to prescribe medication.
Is there a fee and when do I pay?
Yes, we are a fee for service counseling center. Payment is expected at the time of service.
Is there a sliding fee scale?
Yes, we have a sliding fee scale based on annual family income. The sliding fee scale is used when a person or couple is not able to pay the regular fee for the counselor.
Do you have evening hours?
Yes, we have evening hours. We are open until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
What age children do you see?
We see children age 3 and up.
How long is a counseling session?
Sessions are generally one hour in length.
Are your counselors licensed?
Some of our counselors are licensed and some are in the process of becoming licensed. We have licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed professional counselors, a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed psychological examiner.
What if I have an emergency after hours?
We do not have an emergency call service after hours. In the case of a true life threatening emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room. The Crisis Intervention Center telephone number for the Nashville area is 244.7444.
