RSS feed logoWell, we finally have it. News feeds from the church. What is RSS you ask. . .it is a newsfeed that you subscribe to and whenever we update something on the page you subcribe to, you will be given a notice on your computer at home letting you view the content. Pretty neat huh?

You will know if there is an RSS feed available for that page if you see this orange icon on the page somewhere. All you have to do is click on the icon (once you have software for reading rss feeds) and you will be subscribed to it, simple as that.

podcasting logoPodcast logoPodCasting is similar to RSS in that you can subscribe to it. The file is simply an MP3 that has been submitted to Apple and is placed in their itunes directory. The podcast takes that MP3 and, like the RSS feed, it tells you when a new MP3 has been added to the site and can download it automatically to your computer if you have the Itunes software.  To subscribe, right click on the rss link (on the right of the page) and left click on copy shortcut (copy link location if you are using Mozilla Firefox).  Then, open Itunes and click on podcasts, open the advanced tab at the top and click on subscribe to podcast.  Now, hit ctrl V to paste or (right click and paste) the link inside this box, hit return and you are now subscribed to the FBC podcast.  There are numerous alternatives out there to subscribe, but this is the most popular and the method to subscribe will be unique to the software you are using.

Caleb was one of the twelve spies sent by Moses to spy out the promised land of Canaan. His life teaches us we are given Commands to Obey, Choices to Make, and Consequences to Receive. Caleb’s Claim was, ‘I have followed the Lord my God fully’ and he teaches us how we can and should do the same. Scripture: Numbers 13, 14 and Joshua 14:13-15.
