2009-10 Upward Basketball and Cheerleading

Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate, and encouraging sports experience for boys and girls, in K5 through eighth grade. Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants. Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a “win at all costs” mentality associated with today’s sports world.

FALL 2010 SEASON DATES: Evaluations will be held at the FMC on Monday, August 23, and Tuesday, August 24, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Every player should be evaluated to help create balanced teams that are competitive. Sizing uniforms will be available to help determine the proper uniform size to order. The evaluation process takes only 15-20 minutes to complete so please make sure your player attends Monday OR Tuesday night!

Practices will begin the week of September 13, and the first game will be Saturday, September 25. The season will end Saturday, November 20. Register early!
