This summer's Summer Reading Club returns bigger and better. The club meets June 8 - July 27. The them for this year is "Take Flight . . . Read!" Sharry Squires oversees this fun program that provides prizes for the children as they read books and memorize scripture.

The Ladies Christian Book Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Linda Flatt, a retired school librarian, leads the group, and the ladies discuss the books they have read.

Memorials:

Memorials are books that have been placed in the Library in memory of a loved one. You may choose to either purchase the book for the library, or you can donate money. If you donate money, an appropriate book will be purchased for you. A nice book plate is then put in the front of the book with the name of the donor and the one in whose memory it was given. Flowers will wilt and die, but a book becomes a lasting memorial.

Available:

The following are available in your church library: over 100 DVD's VHS tapes for all age groups, books on tape and books on CD, a wide selection of Christian fiction for all ages, non-fictional reading material (including Bible study helps and commentaries), Dr. Weekley and The Living Room sermon tapes, and a quiet place to study or prepare for teaching.
