OTHER MINISTRIES
Fellowship Meals Ministry
At First Baptist Church, we think it’s important to minister to the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. Our Fellowship Meals provide a time to enjoy a delicious meal, as well as the company of others in the FBC family. Served each Wednesday from 4:45-6:15 p.m. (summer hours: 5-6:15 p.m.) in Wilson Fellowship Hall, the Fellowship Dinner features several menu options for a minimal cost. Each week, several hundred people take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a nice meal and warm fellowship. No reservations are needed.

First Impressions
When people step onto the campus of First Baptist, they come in contact with volunteers who serve to ensure their experience is wonderful. We want our guests to feel welcome at our church before they ever take a seat in the Worship Center or a Sunday School class. We want people to know that they are important to us by providing a warm and safe environment for them to grow in Christ.
The First Impressions Ministry utilizes the service of countless volunteers as parking lot attendants, greeters, traffic controllers, and ushers. To be a volunteer, you need a willing heart and a smile. No matter what your gifts and abilities, you can be an integral part of assisting with this important ministry.
For more information on the First Impressions Ministry or to volunteer, please contact Chris Davis at 447.1349.
Hospital Visitation
The ministers at First Baptist Church rotate on a weekly basis the visitation of church members, Sunday School members, and regular attenders who are hospitalized. Every Monday morning at 8 a.m. the next minister in the rotation begins this ministry to our congregation. He also receives the Minister-On-Call cell phone (615.870.7902) that is used to contact a minister after hours, during holidays, and on the weekend. Please notify the church office at 824.6154 when someone in our church family is being admitted to the hospital.
Prayer Room
Prayer is an important aspect of a believer's life and those seeking the Lord. For your prayer needs, call 826.7729.
First Baptist volunteers staff a 24-hour prayer room, lifting in prayer those with physical, spiritual and other needs. Other volunteers serve on the Night Owl Ministry, in which prayer intercessors are on call from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Prayer Room calls are forwarded to the volunteer's home.
If you would like to serve as a prayer warrior, contact Mark Lewis at 447.1307.
