Developing a Powerful Prayer Life

Jesus' disciples grew up in "church", yet they asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. In order to become an ever-growing and effective follower of Jesus, we must know how to pray as Jesus did. This class will establish a biblical foundation for prayer; explore the five types of prayer; and, most importantly, practice time in prayer.

Biblical Doctrine

Doctrines are a set of beliefs and principles that guide the life of the Christian in faith and practice. They come from the text of Scripture. They expose and express the nature of God and man and all spiritual things. Doctrines are meant to be understood by all Christians, not relegated to an elite group. This study provides an overview of selected doctrines of the Bible and communicates them in an understandable way.

Bible Basics

Just who says the Bible is true? How do we know it's God's word? How can you read the Bible and know what it means? How can you possibly learn enough about the Bible to teach it to someone else? Whether you've been a Christian for three months or 30 years, you may have these questions. Bible Basics will address these questions and more through interactive lessons.

God has gifted you with a unique DNA to serve Him. Do you like big groups or one-on-one, out front or behind the scenes, leading or following, dreaming dreams or administrating details? It’s all by God’s design. PLACE allows you to learn which piece of the puzzle you should play to best impact the Kingdom of God. The class is six weeks long from 6:00-7:30 PM.

A Short Life of Christ

The stories of the life of Christ are widely familiar. This study will go beyond a simple retelling of those stories. It will provide the student with an investigative view of Christ's life, and explore the reasons behind certain events and behaviors. It combines biblical history, theology, and apologetics while looking at the significant aspects of Christ's life and work.

Real Life Discipleship
